Case study
NURA
Information memorandum design for NURA, a preventive health screening centre powered by Active-AI, launching at V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
Overview
NURA is a preventive health screening centre built on Active-AI diagnostics, designed to catch disease early — before symptoms appear.
Launching at V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, NURA operates through INURA SA (Pty) Ltd and uses standardised, repeatable AI screening infrastructure rather than practitioner-dependent care. To raise its initial investment through a private SAFE placement, the team needed a document that could carry the weight of the opportunity: rigorous enough for institutional review, clear enough for a first-time reader.
S9 designed the information memorandum — all 51 pages — from the cover through the investment structure, financial models, corporate governance and risk disclosures.
Report
The memorandum needed to feel institutional and modern at the same time — credible to lawyers and compelling to investors.
S9 built three cover variants for the document: a light-mode version pairing the NURA wordmark with medical photography; a dark-mode version using a geometric hexagon field in NURA's navy and teal; and a high-energy version with a full-bleed golden gradient and an active lifestyle image, reflecting the preventive health proposition.
Interior pages use a two-column layout throughout: copy and data on the left, photography or charts on the right. Each section opens with a clear heading and a short blurb that frames the topic, then structures the detail through icons, key-term grids and highlighted stat blocks. The investment structure page presents SAFE terms — R150,000,000 valuation cap, R1,750,000 minimum investment — in large numerals that read clearly at a glance, with legal precision preserved in the prose below.
Corporate governance, financial projections and risk sections follow the same system, so the reader's eye moves through 51 pages without losing its place.
Cover variants. Three directions — clinical, architectural, active — for the information memorandum.
Interior spreads. Consistent two-column structure across investment and governance sections.
Outcomes
A 51-page issuance-ready memorandum, designed to move from first read to investment decision.
The document gave NURA a professional instrument fit for institutional review, with a visual system that makes complex health and financial content easy to follow from cover to close.
